So, I’m not the biggest fan of green smoothies, because I would much rather have a slice of pizza. But I guess if you are trying to be “healthy”, you need to incorporate greens into your life one way or another.
I ordered a green smoothie with celery, spinach, kale, and every other green thing you can image at The Real Coconut Cafe in Tulum. Let’s just say the smoothie was photogenic, but it tasted like straight leaves. To add some sweetness to it, I added pineapples. That way, it was semi-manageable.
I documented the process so you can try this at home. The ingredients you will need to make a green smoothie are:
- Pineapple, Banana, Orange, Mango, Blueberry
- Almond milk
- Maca Powder + Protein Powder
Add goji berries, cacao nibs, bee pollen, and fruit on top to mask the taste of greens.
